We had an amazing stay at a beautiful ryokan with kind and helpful staff. The traditional Japanese breakfast and Kaiseki dinner were incredible. The private hot springs were a highlight of our trip, providing a relaxing and peaceful experience. The spacious room had a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and the whole place was immaculate. We felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.

    Nothing to mention. 😊

We had a fantastic experience at a traditional Japanese hotel with friendly staff. The onsen was beautiful and the homemade food was delicious. The futon beds were comfortable and the location was peaceful. The bus stop nearby was convenient for getting around.

Breakfast delights, but could use more vegetarian options.

We had the pleasure of staying at a lovely traditional Japanese guesthouse on the outskirts of Matsumoto. The room for three was spacious, clean, and had warm duvets. We enjoyed experiencing the traditional Japanese way of life by opting for the public bath, which was a great choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help us. The highlight of our stay was the delicious, traditional Japanese breakfast, served with impeccable table service. We also loved taking advantage of the outdoor and private hot spring baths, which added a romantic touch to our stay. The location may be a bit far from downtown, but the tranquility and nearby hiking trails made up for it. I highly recommend this traditional Japanese guesthouse for an authentic experience.

The on-site hot spring bath was a highlight, offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The hotel also provided excellent amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and a sitting area in the room. We were truly impressed with the level of service and attention to detail, as the staff made their utmost efforts to accommodate us.

Conveniently located outside the city center with easy access by bus. Comfortable and spacious room furnished in traditional style. Enjoyed the variety of local specialties for both dinner and breakfast. Polite, though limited English-speaking staff made us feel at home. Will definitely return for another authentic ryokan experience.

I chose this hotel for attending a vendor expo and was pleased with my stay on a half board plan. Checking in until 6:00 PM made it convenient for my busy schedule. The traditional Japanese experience was exceptional, especially watching the soba noodles being made. The staff went above and beyond in their helpfulness.

The only drawback was the lack of a dedicated business center, which would have been useful for working remotely.

The food, staff, pillows, onsen, and decor were all amazing. The traditional futon bedding was comfortable and the free wifi had a strong signal. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the kaiseki meals were excellent. The location was also beautiful, situated in a scenic area surrounded by rice fields.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Izumiya Zenbe. The authentic ryokan experience was fantastic, with delicious breakfast and dinner and a private onsen that was incredibly relaxing. Our room, the top one on the third floor, was quiet and peaceful, and having our own WC was a pleasant surprise. The staff were warm and helpful, making us feel welcome and cared for. a wonderful and immaculate ryokan experience.

    Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The traditional vibe of the ryokan was so cool, and the onsens were super relaxing. We had a massive Kaiseki dinner that was sooo delicious, but we could barely finish it all. The staff were really friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable. And the best part? The beautiful view of the Japanese alps!

The only thing we wished for was a bit more nightlife around the ryokan. It would've been awesome to have some fun activities or a bar nearby to hang out with our friends.

The hotel offered hearty meals and onsen options that provided ample relaxation time. The scenic mountainous location added to the beauty of the experience. The staff were accommodating and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

There were no decorations, music or festive events, which detracted from the holiday spirit. , the slim mattresses were uncomfortable, leading to restless nights.

Nestled amidst the majestic Japanese Alps, this traditional Ryokan offers guests a unique and immersive cultural experience. From the exceptional service to the outstanding table-cooked tofu, every detail is carefully attended to. The hallmarks of traditional craftsmanship are evident in the stunning architecture and lush gardens. Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor baths while taking in the peaceful surroundings. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and feature comfortable futon bedding.

The hotel's location is a bit remote, so transportation arrangements are necessary.
